Putra Masesolo Racing Team Double Winner at the 2025 National Sprint Rally Championship in POJ City, Semarang
Subhana Mahaputra and navigator Ichsan Bagus P from Masesolo Racing Team clinched victories in two rounds of the 2025 National Sprint Rally Championship.
AUTORIDE.CO.ID – Rally driver Subhana Mahaputra, accompanied by navigator Ichsan Bagus P, representing Masesolo Racing Team, delivered a stunning performance in Round 1 and Round 4 of the 2025 National Sprint Rally Championship, held at POJ City Circuit, Semarang, Central Java, on September 26–28, 2025.
For context, Round 1 of the 2025 National Sprint Rally Championship was originally scheduled to take place in Kertajati, Majalengka, in March. However, due to dangerous track conditions after hit by the storm, the event was canceled. As a result, Round 1 was merged with Round 4, both being held at POJ City Circuit, Semarang.
The Bali-based driver, affectionately known as Putra or also Bee, performed exceptionally well in the R1 Class driving a Toyota Corolla DX rally car. He finished first overall.
Round 1, consisting of two special stages (SS), was completed in 12 minutes 55.9 seconds, while Round 4, consisting of four special stages, was finished in 25 minutes 27.6 seconds on a 5.8-kilometer track.
“In Round 1, we were very competitive. Initially, we were in second place, but fortunately, in the last special stage, even though the car had some issues, our time was still faster than our competitors, allowing us to take first place in the R1 class,” said Putra.
“In Round 4, we couldn’t perform at our best due to several technical issues with the car. The suspension was leaking, the transmission was leaking, and we couldn’t downshift, so we couldn’t use engine braking. The water temperature also reached over 100°C, so we had to play it safe and focus on finishing the race” Putra continued.
Despite the mechanical problems, Putra still managed to outperform his competitors, once again taking first place in Round 4.

“The POJ City track for both Round 1 and Round 4, with a length of 5.8 kilometers, was very challenging and quite wide, allowing us to execute a lot of late braking and handbrake turns to gain time,” explained Putra.
Even though he finished first in both rounds, Putra and his crew plan to carry out a series of evaluations, particularly concerning the car, to ensure better performance in the remaining two rounds of the season.
“From the evaluations of Rounds 1 and 4, we realized we need to make several improvements to the car so that in Round 5, we can perform at our best and achieve the best possible times. That’s what we’re aiming for after analyzing the previous rallies,” he emphasized.
The success of Putra and Masesolo Racing Team was also supported by their sponsors: IMI Bali, PPMKI Bali, Kebun Vintage, Royal Purple, ICDXC, and IgnitionB119. (Maston/Photos: Masesolo Racing Team)
